Tasting Notes:
Altos Ibéricos Crianza presents a dark cherry red color with intense and fragrant aromas of raspberry jam, complemented by spicy hints of green peppercorn and a pleasant note reminiscent of toasted bread. On the palate, it is warm with velvety, juicy tannins, well-balanced by oak aging.
Winemaker’s Notes:
Crafted from 100% Tempranillo grapes, this wine undergoes fermentation in stainless steel under controlled temperatures, with skin contact for 15 days. It is aged for 12 months in French and American oak barrels, 7% of which are new, followed by an additional 12 months of bottle aging.
Food Pairing Suggestions:
Altos Ibéricos Crianza pairs well with lamb dishes, such as roasts and chops, as well as pork recipes. It also complements Iberian cured meats and aged cheeses like Manchego.
