Certified organic by Ecocert, Famille Perrin Côtes du Rhône Réserve is a testament to the estate’s commitment to organic farming. The wine showcases the expertise developed at Château de Beaucastel, one of the pioneers of organic farming in the region. This wine is a beautiful expression of the Rhône Valley, with vibrant fruit flavors and delicate, soft tannins, offering a fresh and balanced experience.
Tasting Notes:
- Appearance: Beautiful clear and shiny ruby-red color.
- Nose: Expressive aromas of black fruit, undergrowth, and eucalyptus, enhanced by a refreshing quality.
- Palate: Generous and balanced, with layers of dark fruit, supported by an elegant tannic structure. The finish is long, with delicate hints of aniseed.
Winemaking:
The harvest date is determined by both the ripeness of the grapes and sensory analysis. Upon arrival at the winery, the grapes are sorted and destemmed. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, with extraction managed by pumping over based on tasting. After malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged for one year, partly in oak barrels and partly in stainless steel vats.
The Vintage:
2021 was a vintage marked by freshness, reminiscent of the vintages from the 1980s and 1990s. It was a challenging year with climatic events such as an April frost and intermittent rainfall during harvest. However, thanks to the careful intervention and dedication of the vineyard team, the resulting wine is fresh, balanced, and promising.
Food Pairings:
This wine pairs beautifully with:
- Roast venison with porcini mushrooms and mocha gravy
- Dark chocolate mousse with chili
- Grilled meats or herb-roasted vegetables

Serve at 15-16°C for the best expression of its aromas and flavors.
Location & Terroir:
