Introduction:
Dona Paula Los Cardos Malbec is a vibrant and expressive red wine from the Luján de Cuyo region in Mendoza, Argentina. This wine captures the essence of the area’s unique terroir, where warm days and cool nights create the perfect conditions for growing Malbec. Winemaking Details:
Grapes are hand-harvested from the El Alto Vineyard in Ugarteche, located at 1,050 meters above sea level. After destemming and soft crushing, the grapes undergo a cold pre-fermentative maceration to preserve their primary aromas. Fermentation begins traditionally, followed by a 10-15 day post-fermentation maceration. Malolactic fermentation is carried out after maceration. The wine is then aged to develop its smooth and complex character.
