Flat Roof Manor, nestled in Stellenbosch, South Africa, is a symbol of a father’s love for his daughter. Tasting Notes:
- Colour: Lively purple-red with a bright pink rim.
- Bouquet: A combination of raspberry, cotton candy, and spices with undertones of mocha oak.
- Taste: The palate offers a blend of berries and spices with lively tannins, giving the wine a youthful character, followed by a soft, lingering sweet aftertaste.
Winemaking:
The blend consists of 60% Shiraz, 20% Sangiovese, 14% Petit Verdot, and 6% Cabernet Sauvignon. After fermentation in rotation tanks, part of the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks, while a small portion is matured in barrels using 100% French oak to enhance fruit flavors. The wine was left to mature for 9 months, creating a balanced and rich profile.
